The first 25 people to submit eligible entries will be given a Made by MAC Custom Hoodie.
All eligible entries submitted will be posted online. On January 26, 2009 voting will be open to the public who may then visit the web site and vote for the entrant who they feel best displays creativity and originality. Voting is closed to the public at midnight on February 6, 2009. The top five entries will will each be asked to participate in a live event held in the McMaster University Student Center on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 12:00pm where one will be named the Grand Prize Winner.
On February 11, 2009 at 12:00pm submissions from the five semi-finalists will be judged by an independent panel of judges on the following criteria: (a) creativity (50%) and (b) the best original use of software (50%). In the event of a tie, the Semi-Finalist with the highest score for creativity will be named the winner.

Anyone who creates their submission using materials from the library’s Peace and War in the 20th Century website will be eligible to win an additional prize – an iPod touch. A separate judging panel made up of library staff will decide the winner, which will be announced at the live event held in the MUSC on February 11, 2009.
